I actually did a similar design around this time last year so this is a bit of a throwback. I always really love negative space manis, but don't do them nearly often enough.
I used three polishes from the OPI Infinite Shine line to help create this look and those would be No Stopping Me Now, We're in the Black, and Tanacious Spirit. Of course, each nail has the primer base coat and the gloss topcoat both from the Infinite Shine line. All you'll need to accomplish this look besides the polishes is a liner brush, which you can purchase at your local craft store or online.
I did manage to create a video for this look so you guys have an idea on what to do. However, it is sped up to the speed of Instagram (15 seconds).
I love these! I, as well, love negative space manis and don't get to do them nearly as often as I would like to. My allergies... or something- maybe a sickness. Ugh.. either way, I love this design!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a nail artist! That's like stained glass on your fingertips. Really great!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this...that vid was great at showing us how to do it...next manicure..I'm trying this for sure! carolann@sassytownhouseliving.

ReplyDeleteVery cute! I don't do anything with my nails but I love this. My mom did all kinds of stuff with her and I was so envious! This is great!

ReplyDeleteMy goodness - you did this with a ugly sinus infection - I hope you're feeling better - and thank you - I've been wondering how this was done and your short and to the point video was excellent! Great job and thank you :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better by now, it's not nice having a sinus infection. LOve this design!
ReplyDeleteThat looks really cool, and could also be done with a basecolor for those who don't like negative space :).
ReplyDeleteI still haven't done a negative space mani, but this might be one of my favorites I've seen!
ReplyDeleteHas a stained glass window kind of feel to it, very cool!
ReplyDeleteSuch cool nail art, it's so graphic. I love the colours you chose.

ReplyDeleteWow they look incredible. I wish I have the ability to do this. I am lucky if I can do a plain one color paint job.
ReplyDeleteNail art is getting more and more popular today. My daughter is in her mid twenties and love to be decorative with her nails and has for a long time.
