Cirque Colors x Nordstrom Poolside Collection

TGIF! There is nothing like some gorgeous polishes on your fingertips to start the weekend off right. For the 3rd time Cirque Colors is teaming up with Nordstrom for the monthly pop-in! The events the prior two times have been nothing short of stellar, so I have been looking forward to this since I first learned about it. The Poolside Collection by Cirque Colors is exclusive to this Nordstrom event and once sold out it will not be restocked.

The Poolside Collection by Cirque Colors consists of three cremes, two holographic, and one glitter topper. These polishes will be available online and at select stores (you can check out the location list at the bottom of this post) starting today May 29th through June 28th.

Inspired by luxurious days, balmy nights and everything you need to have an amazing time by the pool - we've created an exclusive collection for Nordstrom's Poolside Pop-In, curated by Olivia Kim director of creative projects and Opening Ceremony veteran. This limited edition release features a range of cool-toned colors accented with poppy hues for a touch of Hollywood glam. Douse your tips with Julep, a refreshing mint holographic, or slip your toes into Rita, a fiery red creme.

Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo is described as a sky blue creme polish. Such a bright fun shade, perfect for the summer. I don't have a dupe for it myself, but it's one of those colors where you feel like you might have. Formula is a little bit on the thin side, which caused minor cuticle flooding. Very opaque in a singular layer and self-levels perfectly. Swatched here with two coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Summer Soiree

Summer Soiree is described as a pink and coral sprinkle glitter topper. Normally I'm not a huge fan of bar glitters, but this completely turned me around on that. The color combination is so adorable! I really think it'll look so good over a nude or vanilla-like shade, reminiscent of a cupcake with sprinkles. I paired it here with Monte Carlo for a very patriotic look, love it. The formula and the consistency are great, ample glitters in each brush stroke. Definitely no need to fish for glitters. Swatched here over Monte Carlo using two thin coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Santorini 

Santorini is described as a medium cobalt blue creme. I have been looking for a blue this particular shade for the longest time, Words cannot tell you how in love I am with this. While applying you'll notice the polish does have a bit of an off odd scent, but it's not too strong though. The formula is a bit thin, which causes minor cuticle flooding. Amazingly this blue doesn't stain! So much happiness. Swatched here with two coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Rita

Rita is described as a tomato red creme. If you don't have a red shade satisfying your polishing needs, then look no further than this. One. Coat. Need I say more? It's so opaque and absolutely lush, it's mind-blowing that it's achieved with only a single coat. Formula and consistency are fantastic with no application issues and no staining. Swatched here is one coat sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Cabana Capri 

Cabana Capri is described as a cyan blue holographic. Does it need to be said? MUST. HAVE. I wish I had accessibility to some sun for the full-on holo effect. So gorgeous regardless though. Formula was fantastic, very smooth and easy application. The consistency was spot on, not too thick or thin. Swatched here with two coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Julep 

Julep is described as a mint green holographic. Another jaw-dropping stunner. I feel like a freaking mermaid wearing this, which has been a life goal since I was five. I honestly feel it leans more towards being a seaform green rather than a mint, stunning either way. Same great formula as Cabana Capri. Swatched here with two coats and sealed with Seche Vite topcoat.

Overall I think this a fantastic summer collection from Cirque Colors. There is so much versatility and use in each one of the shades, I can see myself using these a lot through the next two months. Of course, the holos are the stand out polishes in this collection. Simply stunning and definite must-haves for polish lovers, especially those of us that are holo obsessed. So much love for these.
