James Allen Nail Jewels - Wedding Bliss Week 1

Hi guys! As part of the Preen.Me VIP program I was selected to review and create manis for their newest collaboration with James Allen. James Allen, a leader in diamond jewelry, is bringing together the world of nail art and diamond jewelry with the help of Preen.Me. Each blogger in the program received two limited edition Nail Jewels by James Allen. Each version of this amazing nail accessory represents one of James Allen's most popular diamond rings!

For the next few weeks, I'll be sharing with you wedding-inspired manicures using these nail charms. I am beyond excited for this mini weekly segment! With my own wedding coming up next year I have a million ideas and this is the perfect time to give them a test-ride.

Aren't they just gorgeous?! Exactly like mini engagement rings for my nails! There are seven total designs available and I can't even pick a favorite because I honestly must have them all. I've already been hinting at the 'hubs' that I need the rest of them and have added them to my birthday wishlist haha.

Wedding nails are usually pink or white, but I knew right away that I wanted to create something different. Using 'Meet the Parents' by Essie and 'Snow Cube' from Salon Perfect I created a dainty pastel blue gradient. I topped off the gradient with the forever magical 'Fairy Dust' from China Glaze. I still felt at this point it was missing a little something, so I decided to use some loose glitter and create a polka dot pattern. On my accent nail I put a stripe of striping tape in silver color to give the nail charm more of a popping feel.

The nail charm itself is very light weight, which makes for easy placement. I also loved how it's edges aren't sticking out too far so that it doesn't catch and snag on my clothes all day. Another great thing to note is the width of the charm, it's made concisely to reach both sides of my nail bed perfectly. Personally I also have to give it extra points for being white gold, I really dislike wearing jewelry or charms in yellow gold.

So what do you guys think? Let me know what colors I should use for my next wedding inspired design!

  2. These are great! Do they actually sell the charm? That would be such a great idea for brides on their wedding day to really spruce up their nails. If we could get them to stay on it would be such a beautiful accessory!

  11. This is stunning!! It look fantastic with the blue and white. I saw it on IG and think it is one of the prettiest manicures I've ever seen. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but these kind of nail charms can be reused can't they? Do you just use remover to get any excess polish off? Thank you!!
