James Allen Nail Jewels - Wedding Bliss Week 4

Hi guys! It's the middle of the week and that means one thing around here... it's time for Wedding Bliss! This is the weekly segment where I bring you both chic and funky nail art looks for your friendly neighborhood bridal girl. As you know, this series of designs is part of the Preen.Me VIP program showcasing James Allen limited edition Nail Jewels, which are inspired by their most popular diamond rings!

James Allen Nail Jewels - Wedding Bliss Week 4

These are definitely not your normal wedding nails, but that's what I was aiming for with these. When I was younger, during my emo stage, I always wanted a black wedding dress with fishnets. Truth be told, I'm still kind of fond of the idea but I don't think it'll be happening haha.

I was inspired for this design from a fabulous mani I saw on Instagram created by NailStorming a few months ago. Freehand lines are hard yo. Seriously after the first nail all I kept saying to myself was 'what was I thinking?!' haha. But I'm glad I stuck to it and managed to finish it off because I love the end result. Especially because it's matted! It's like I have discovered matte topcoat for the first time or something lately and I'm just matting all the things.

This was actually an accidental shot and I ended up really loving it so I thought I would include it in the post. Don't you love it when that happens?

For this nail art mani, I ended up opting to use acrylic paint instead of black polish for more control over the lines. Freehand line-work is not my strong suit and with paint I could easily wipe away any serious mistakes to try again. The base pink is the same as last week's mani, OPI I Theodore You. I've become obsessed with this shade all over again! So dainty and pretty.

One of the best things I like about this mani is that you can really decided to go with any color scheme and it would look just as good. Interchange the black for white for the brides that want a more traditional look!

So what do you guys think? Would you want a tutorial for this look? Let me know!
