CDB Lacquer August LE Summer Showers

Hiya guys. How's it going this afternoon? I am still trying to compose myself for a very exciting birthday celebration. Needless to say it was a very amazing day. So for today I'll be sharing swatches for CDB Lacquer's next monthly limited edition shade. For the month of August, Cheyenne has decided to go with this gorgeous jelly called 'Summer Showers'.

Summer Showers by CDB Lacquer will be releasing on August 1st at noon EST. As with all LE polishes, this will not be restocked once it has sold out. It will also only be available in full size for $8.00 each.

Summer Showers can be described as a blurple jelly that consist of white, blue and fuchsia glitters in numerous sizes as well as a subtle blue shimmer. Look at that squishy finish! I am definitely a self-proclaimed jelly nutcase haha. I find the color itself to be really gorgeous and unique to me, personally I don't own a lot of blurple shades like this. The formula was very smooth and opaque, which was surprising for a jelly. Nice consistency, not too thick or too thin. It dried to a nice smooth shine finish as well. Shown here is two coats sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall I'm definitely really in love with the color and glitter combination in this polish. I am always a fan of polishes that come across as unique at a first glance. Definitely recommend this beauty if you are lacking in the blurple department as I am. The shade is just very stunning as we move away from bright summer colors and start settling for a much more cool and chill vibe for fall. As I mentioned before, Summer Showers by CDB Lacquer will be releasing on August 1st at noon EST.
