Hiya guys! If you follow me on social media then you might have already seen me posting about this, but it's time to finally share it here! I'm referring to the Spread Indie Love Box, the Spring edition. Whenever it's time for this box to roll around I know the anticipation builds sky-high and that's because this is jam-packed box with goodies. In total this box contains four full-size polishes, two full-size body treatments, peel-able latex, eye shadow, and tons of other samples! Some of the samples are limited to the first 100 boxes so please be aware that you may not receive the extra extra goodies if you wait until last minute.
Polish My Life: Marigold Delight
Marigold Delight from Polish My Life can be described as an orange-yellow creme. I cannot get over how much I love the tone of this shade. It's not one I would normally pick out for myself and I would be hella missing out. The formula has a great application, opaque and self-levels really well. Definitely see myself using this one for nail art. Shown here in two coats plus topcoat.
Anonymous Lacquer: Mint to Be Green
Mint to Be Green from Anonymous Lacquer can be described as a matte mint with a blue flash. Again, great formula from this shade with an easy application. Self-levels well, but it is sheer so it needs a few coats to build up. And the answer to the million dollar question... there's no staining, which is always fantastic news to hear from this kind of color. Dries to a beautifully smooth matte finish on its own! Shown here in two coats plus topcoat.
Girly Bits Cosmetics - Astilbe
Astilbe from Girly Bits Cosmetics can be described as a light pink micro-glitter swimming with silver holo micro-glitter and a variety of iridescent glitter. I wish I could have shown this one in natural daylight because the sparkle factor is just jaw-dropping. This polish can be worn as a glitter topper over a base or layered for full-coverage. I chose to wear it on its own and I was surprised at how well it layered. The formula has a balanced consistency between thick and thin, which makes the glitters easy to work with. Shown here in two coats plus topcoat.
Love Angeline - Field of Dreams
Field of Dreams by Love Angeline can be described as white crelly filled with aqua, pink and peach round and hex glitters. Although shown here is a mini bottle, you will be receiving a full-size in your box. The formula has fantastic glitter distribution in each coat. The coats apply a little on the sheer side, but end up leveling out. There is also no need to fish, not even for the larger round glitters. Shown here in three thin coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
But that's just the polishes guys, so like the tip of the ice berg when it comes to this box. I mentioned this being a jam-packed box and that's not a sales pitch or an exaggeration. Let's go ahead and take a look at all the other products.
So Much Goodness: Purple Nurple
Purple Nurple (no lie I real lifed lol'd at the name) is a latex based nail art product infused with SMG's own mix of natural oils to help moisturize upon removal. Newest obsession! I love that it doesn't dry out my skin like the latex barriers I use on the daily. It can also be used a base for glitter polishes and make that removal a breeze.
Fusion of Color: Mineral Eyeshadow
The shade from Fusion of Color is called Sand Castle and it's a basic matte pink. As someone who wears minimum makeup, I love how light and cute this shade is. It's great for just a quick bit of color before going about your day.
Love & Lotus - Whipped Body Butter
For this Spring themed box, the scent included for the Love & Lotus Whipped Body Butter will be Sugar Blossom. It's described as "a flirtatious blend that begins with clean citrusy top notes of bergamot, grapefruit, and essential oils of lemon and lime. Floral mid-notes of white orchid, freesia, jasmine, passionfruit, and lily of the valley lead to a sweet, soft drydown of vanilla, caramel, amber and Tuscan blood orange."
Anazoe Beauty: Nourishing Conditioner
The Anazoe Beauty conditioner comes in an exclusive mermaid scent. The scent can be described as a "mandarin, juicy melon and a hint of apple" While comprised of "pineapple, coconut, violet and jasmine and in reaching to her depths you will discover driftwood, sprinkled sugar and white musk."
Charmed & Dangerous: Rose Nail Charm
Other samples (yes, there is more!) included in the box:
- Sweet Lacquer: one sample sheet of spring nail vinyls
- Beautometry: basic nail file
- Ever After: cuticle crelly cream
- Alter Ego: oatmeal soap bar
- Sassy Pants Polish: sugar scrub
Overall it's definitely worth every penny you're paying. Trust me, I live on a budget so I try and get the best value for my buck when it comes to polishes. Not to mention, you get to try out so many brands in one shot. Personally this box ended up being a first impression on at least 80% of the items included. I cannot emphasize the value for the quality! Every single one of the polishes had a fantastic formula and versatile wear as well. But I want to hear from you guys, what did you think of this box? Will you be grabbing one before it's too late?!
To recap, Spread Indie Love Box - Spring in Bloom is now available for pre-order until April 30th. Only 4 days left to purchase this box valued at over $90. Each box retails for only $45 + shipping.
