Digit-al Dozen - Negative Space Week - Day 3

Hiya guys! TGIF, it's time to kick back and relax. And subsequently play with lots and lots of polish. Today I'm sharing another manicure as part of Digit-al Dozen Negative Space week. I've fallen behind on sharing, but that's only because I didn't want to post nail fails. Coming up with ideas for this prompt has turned out to be a lot harder than I originally thought. But then I remembered a cute manicure by my friend and fellow DD girl Cheyenne and boom it was recreation time!

I cannot get over how much I love this design. Doesn't this look like the perfect Valentine's Day manicure?! I'll have to remember to either recreate it or repost it next year.

Going into this manicure I knew one thing... I didn't want to have to create stamping decals. It was almost midnight and doing decals take a very long time. So I actually ended up just coloring it in on my nail, which to my surprise actually worked out. Of course a small and thin detail brush is a must in this situation! I highly recommend the ones from the Winstonia Berry Wine set, they have been a favorite of mine for months now.

Here's everything I used to create this look:

I really wish I would have had the time to do a video tutorial on this look. Maybe if it's something you guys would like to see I can recreate it in the future.

I'm hoping to have a little better luck this weekend and create two more manicures to finish off the week. Hopefully they don't end up in the pile of nail fails from this week, haha. Maybe I should do a funny like monthly nail fail round-up, think that'd be something you like to see? Anyway don't forget to check out the other designs during Day 3 of The Digit-al Dozen Negative Space week!
