Hiya guys! As you may know I went to Polish Con in New York last month and ended up having the time of my life. And, of course, I have never purchased so much polish in one day! Just thinking about it is giving me that adrenaline rush all over again, haha. I was able to meet a lot of makers in person including Painted Polish! It was actually one of my first stops because I knew I needed to get their newest stamping collection, literally top of my shopping list. So today I'm sharing swatches for that collection I purchased, which is their newly released Stamped in Spring Collection. It consists of five creamy pastels shades made for stamping fun. Without further ado, let's get to the swatches!
The Stamped in Spring Collection by Painted Polish is now available for purchase. Each full-size 13.2mL bottle retails for $10 or you can purchase the entire collection for $45.
Stamped in Guava can be described as a pastel coral crème.
The formula has a really opaque application and definitely can be a one coater for most. Unfortunately I have developed ridges on my nail bed, so I did need a light second coat to help cover those up. It has a very nice consistency, not too thick or too thin. Dries to a beautiful high-shine finish on its own. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Stamped in Mint can be described as a pastel mint crème.
The formula has a very opaque application, enough to even cover my ridges on one coat. Shown in one coat and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Stamped in Peach can be described as a pastel peach crème.
The formula has a very opaque application and can be a one coater. Like I mentioned with the others, I did decide to give this one a second coat just to make sure I covered up my ridges. It has a great balanced consistency and self levels like a boss. I noticed it leaned on more of a semi-satin finish when dry. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Stamped in Starfruit can be described as a pastel yellow crème. Brace yourselves, this is actually my must-have pick from this collection, Dead serious, I have never been so in love with a yellow polish before.
The formula has an opaque application, but not quite to be a one coater (ridges aside). It's so smooth and has amazing self-leveling for a perfect finish. Super easy to work with. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Stamped in Taro can be described as a light periwinkle crème.
The formula has a really opaque application, much more so than the others (which is saying a lot). Again as with the others, it has a great balanced consistency. It also leaned on drying to a semi-satin finish. Shown in one coat and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Overall I cannot recommend these polishes enough, honestly any stamping polish from Painted Polish has my utmost praise. The formulas on these are some of the best I have experienced both for stamping and even just as a cream base in general. Super smooth, really opaque, and great dry time. I don't want to sound like I'm gushing too much, but really though I am. Lexi also has an amazing black stamping polish Midnight Mischief, it's the shade that made become a fan of this brand. So if you're looking for new stamping polishes for your collection look no further #noragrets.
Side note: I will be inserting what these polishes look like stamped over a dark and light base at a later time, I'm just a goof who accidentally deleted those photos.
To recap, the Stamped in Spring Collection by Painted Polish is now available for purchase. Each full-size 13.2mL bottle retails for $10 or you can purchase the entire collection for $45.
