Laquerlicious - Halloween 2014 Collection

Greetings guys! Hope your day has been good so far. Not having a bad one myself though I have to attempt I'm more than anxious for a little rest. I'm starting to see double due to lack of sleep or maybe it's the fact I haven't changed my glasses in five years. You decide. Haha. I feel like today is just a crazy glitter filled frenzy type of day. Also known as the day where we all pelvic thrust to the glitter gods. I went too weird on you guys again didn't I? It's okay because I'm totally going to make up for it by showing you a four-some you don't want to miss out on. This afternoon I'll be sharing the Halloween polishes from Laquerlicious aka the queen of all things glitter. Ever since I had a taste of Laquerlicious I have been hooked with their fantastic glittery polish selections.

Laquerlicious - Halloween 2014 Collection

The Halloween Collection by Laquerlicious is still available for purchase both in a full-set and for individual purchase. Don't miss your chance to own these as quantities are low and once sold out they will not be restocked.

Laquerlicious - The Ghostess With The Mostess

The Ghostess With The Mostess is a glitter topper packed with orange, green, purple, white, black, yellow in hex, star, dot and triangle shapes. This is the definition of a glitter bomb! Take a good look, there is a little bit of everything going on in this one polish. This polish does have a clear base so my swatches are done over a nude polish. The formula and consistency are fantastic, making this polish extremely easy to apply. Needless to say, there is no fishing. In fact, you'll actually find yourself having to put some glitters back in the bottle. For this swatch, I used two thin coats for this massive amounts of glitter and sealed with a topcoat.

Laquerlicious - Witchful Thinking

Witchful Thinking is a glitter topper packed with metallic and hologram orange, fuchsia, purple, and black hex glitter. Another completely packed glitter polish and like the previous one, this one also have a clear base. I chose to layer this polish over a fuchsia colored base coat. This polish is a lot thicker than the rest in this set and because of that you'll have to apply using the dabbing method. You can actually end up dabbing quite a bit to give you a full-coverage finish. For these swatches, I dabbed about two thin layers and sealed it off with a topcoat.

Laquerlicious - Vamp Tramp

Vamp Tramp is a burgundy jelly with red micro flakies and fuchsia hologram glitter, blue iridescent glitter and sapphire metallic glitter. Okay first off... That color! And secondly boy do I feel dumb. I accidentally didn't use a topcoat after swatching this particular polish. Because of that you can see the glitters aren't smoothed down, my apologizes. This does, however, give you a chance to see what the finish looks like.  The formula is really easy to work with, not too thin nor too thick. The glitters also give me no problems when applying. I swatched this color using three thin coats, although two could of probably been okay as well.

Laquerlicious - Tomb It May Concern

Tomb It May Concern is a orange-red crelly with gold shimmer and gold, lavender & purple metallic glitter. Hands down my favorite from this four-some and possibly from the whole season. It's that perfect in-between of red and orange to make me fall in love. I will definitely be wearing this whenever I get a chance, it simply compliments my skin-tone remarkably well. Formula and consistency are completely on-point and are great to work with. Very smooth application, gave me no trouble at all. I used two thin coats and sealed it off with a topcoat for a glossy finish.

Overall the Halloween polishes from Laquerlicious are glitterific to say the very least. Can you believe there was a time when I didn't like glitter polishes?! For shame, I know. I'm so glad to have changed out of my old ways and that's partially in credit to Laquerlicious. The formulas and consistency are absolutely wonderful to work with and did not give me any issues to report on. I highly suggest if you're looking for some new glitters to try, or even if you're a long time glitter lover, to give Laquerlicious a go. Even though this particular set is meant for Halloween, I can still see myself wearing two or three of them for the Fall season as well. As I mentioned before, these are still available for purchase in both a set and in individual full-sizes. Don't miss out!
