12 Days of Christmas: Ice Blue & White Colors

Hiya guys, how's it going today? It's another day of pouring rain in Jersey with a car that won't start. I don't know what's worse right now the rain or getting snow. I prefer the snow for the most part though, there is just something about the rain that makes me feel way too tired and lazy. Snow is just annoying to drive in, but otherwise it's sort of peaceful. But anyway, it's time for another prompt in the Challenge Your Nail Art group. Today's nail art prompt is, blue and white colors!

12 Days of Christmas: Ice Blue & White Colors

This is one of those mani's that I went in not knowing what I even wanted to do. Just use all the things, haha. In the end, I think the finished look is pretty nice and has a Christmas sweater feeling to it.

12 Days of Christmas: Ice Blue & White Colors

Here's the materials used to create this look:
  • Base color: OPI Liquid Sand, Kiss Me At Midnight
  • Stamping plate: MoYou London Fashionista Collection Plate 14
  • Rhinestones: Sally Hansen I <3 Nail Art Stud Kit
  • Other polishes: Konad White, Zoya Trixie and Ryan
  • Acrylic Paint: white, sky blue, navy blue
12 Days of Christmas: Ice Blue & White Colors

I started by applying three coats of the textured beauty Kiss Me At Midnight by OPI. Make sure you let this completely dry before you continue on, three coats is a lot. Using my white stamping polish, I stamped one of the images from my MoYou London Fashionista Collection Plate 14. After that, I took Ryan by Zoya and stamped the same pattern once again. Once I let it dry for a bit, I applied a glossy topcoat and placed the rhinestone.

I'm not even going to talk about the mess that is my ring nail art haha. It's supposed to be an icicle done in all acrylic paint, but it turned out pretty bad I think. So let's just ignore that one shall we? Either way, I really hope you guys like the look.

Check out the other fabulous ladies in today's challenge, there are so many gorgeous mani's to look at. An InLinkz Link-up

  1. I love the texture of this... it's not the usual bumpy, gritty textured polish look, I think the stamping gives it a softer feel. x
