Hiya guys! Today I have some fun nail art to share with you, especially if you're a music lover. I actually did these a while ago so you might notice a slight change in nail length. But regardless, I am in love with how these ended up turning out! For the mani I am using water decals from Lady Queen that are shaped like music notes! How freaking adorable is that, right?!
Going into this mani I really wanted to create a cloud-y kind of nail look. So I used my favorite sponging technique for the base, which is apparently called seriotype. I never would of thought of calling my sponge mushing that, but it sure does sound good haha.
These decals are listed as item #NA0161 pattern QJ-237 on the Lady Queen website and retail for only $.99. There are plenty of decals on the single sheet for two manis, even more if you decide to only do accent nails. After soaking them with water for a few seconds, the decals apply really easily (as you can see in my video below). Here are some step-by-step instructions on how to use them:
If you decide you'd like to shop over at Lady Queen be sure to use my code WECS15 to receive 15% off your purchase. And remember shipping is overseas and will take at least 2-3 weeks to arrive.

- Let you base dry fully before continuing on to use the decals.
- Cut out the design you want to use (preferably with small scissors).
- Place the cut-out decals into a cup of warm water for about 20-30 seconds.
- When easily removable from the backing paper pick up a decal with tweezers & position on the nail make sure you do not put them on back to front - the colorful side must face outwards or you will end up with a backwards white wash design).
- When you're done make sure to seal the design with top coat to keep the decal in place.
And there is a video showing you guys how I created this look!
