Hiya guys! You actually get to see the new shorter nail length I mentioned yesterday today as I share swatches of the Mommy's Time Out Box. The whole theme is centered around Mother's Day and it's so well-thought out you guys are going to love it. This box features one polish from each of these five makers: le Polish, Sassy Pants Polish, Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer, Supernatural Lacquer, and Turtle Tootsie Polishes. In addition to the polishes there are a few extra goodies such as hand lotion and cuticle oil!
The Mommy's Time Out Box will be available for presale starting on April 1st through April 8th only through the le Polish's website. The entire box (five full-size polishes, cuticle oil, lotion, plus more) retails for $45, which includes shipping in the US. Definitely a great price for everything that you're getting!
Uh-oh, It’s Too Quiet by le Polish can be described as a taupe-y nude full of scattered holo, shimmer and micro-flakes. Nudes are forever a favorite shade of mine to wear. Not to mention this shade is definitely business work friendly without being boring. The formula is sheer on a first coat, but it builds up evenly. Great consistency as well, not too thick or thin. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Also included is a Lemon Lavender Healing Balm – perfect for getting your heels and other dry skin areas ready for warmer weather!
Pass the Merlot by Sassy Pants Polish can be described as a deep burgundy wine polish with gold holo microglitter. Favorite alert! It actually ended up being my moms favorite too as I caught her trying to steal it, haha. I really can't blame her though, there is something so vamp and sexy about this glitter to color combination. The formula has a great smooth application. Perfect consistency as well. The finish can end up drying a tiny bit gritty, so I used a nice thick layer of topcoat. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Also included is a moisturizing and stress relieving Lavender Vanilla goat milk lotion from Sassy Pants Polish’s big sister company, Handmade Natural Beauty.
Don’t Eat That! by Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer can be described as a glowy, shimmery green. Out of all the names, I got to say I love this one the most. This is all you would hear my mom saying to me as a kid... actually she might have to still say that to me every once in a while. The formula has an extremely sheer application, but it can be layered easily for an opaque finish. Any visible brush strokes end up blending out after applying a topcoat. Bonus, you can also use this shade as a topper over a dark base! Shown here in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Also included is two delicious teas – one for the morning to get us going (caffeine!) and one to wind down and just relax (chamomile).
Where’s the Pie? by Supernatural Lacquer can be described as a dusty purple crelly packed with microglitters, flakies, and a hint of shimmer. Another favorite of mine from this box! There is so much going on in this one polish, it's super fun and cute to wear. The formula applies smoothly and builds up easily without clumping. Again with this one the finish ends up drying on the gritty side due to the glitters and flakes, but a thick layer of topcoat and the finish will smooth out. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Also included is a jojoba nail oil roller in Fruity Pebbles scent because who doesn’t sneak handfuls of their kids’ cereal every once in awhile?!
Ahh…Alone Time by Turtle Tootsie Polishes can be described as a sensuous pink holo. I didn't think I was going to love this one as much as I do, but after wearing it I have fallen head over heels. It's such a delicate and beautiful shade to wear anytime. Really brings out this classy sophisticated feeling out of it. It does have a smooth application like all the others as well. Despite how light the shade is, it ends up being quite opaque and doesn't need too much layering. Builds up nicely with minimum visible brush strokes after topcoat. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
Also included are two scrumptious bits of Ghirardelli chocolates to savor in the moment.

Before we jump straight into the polishes and everything else I have a little something different for you guys. I did my first ever unboxing video, which includes live swatching of each one of the polishes! I'm super anxious to hear what you think, so be sure to leave a comment.

Overall the Mommy's Time Out Box is a perfect combination of all things mom. The inspiration for each one of the shades is spot on and I love how varied all the shades and finishes are against each other. It really captures all the whole essence of being a mom, from the scolding to the wine breaks. Bonus, if you've been meaning to try out these indies for the first time then this is the perfect chance to get them all in one box! So tell me guys, what do you think of this Mommy Indie Box? Which polish ended up being your favorite?
