Plan with Me: Ft. Harriet Wright Designs | February 17th to 23rd February

Hiya guys! I'm back to end of the week with another plan with me spread in my Erin Condren. And I'm still quite behind so I'm memory planning for the week of February 17th through the 23rd. At least I'm almost at the end of February at this point, haha. One of my summer goals for this year is to get completely caught up on my planning spreads. Easier said than done. But yeah I'm also coming at you this week with a new shop, well new to me shop, Harriet Wright Designs. I have about three kits from her shop from around two years ago, so quite old at this point. I think it was one of the last purchases I made before deciding to move away from planning for awhile. As soon as I saw this kit in my stash I knew it was perfect for this week. Very cutesy and peaceful. I love the splashes of yellow throughout the spread as it's not a color I tend to use a lot of in my planner. I also used quite a few new stickers this week that just came in the mail and are part of a planner haul I'm doing later this month. Not sure if I'll be doing strictly video only or a blog post as well so let me know your thoughts on it.

Like I mentioned, this is actually my first time using a kit from this shop and I'm super excited about it. The only thing I can complain about - and I really don't think it's much of a complaint - is the stickers have an odd chemical smell. I think chemical isn't the right word for it, but they have a strong smell that comes from the type of matte paper it is. I think. It's weird to describe, but there is an odor to the paper that has been there since I received it. It doesn't hinder the paper in any way and it's not strong enough to bother me. This kit is extremely old at this point, so I don't know if the paper quality has changed over time. I actually would prefer if it hadn't changed because the paper is so buttery smooth. It's absolutely amazing to write on and by far one of my favorite matte paper finishes. I'll definitely be picking up a few more kits from this shop to see how they compare.

Also for this week (and the next) I tried out a new way of recording and planning where I write on the stickers off camera and don't show that part. If that makes sense. Basically no writing on camera. I don't know how I feel about how the end result looked, but you will have to let me know what you think. I was hoping the plan with me as a whole would be a little smoother, but I'm not sure if I actually accomplished that. It feels very awkward writing on camera sometimes and I feel like I write really slowly as well. To me it feels boring to watch and even when I fast forward it feels way too sped up to be visually appealing. I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking things. I will probably end up trying out this format for a few more spreads before I end up making my mind up. But like I said, please let me know what you think and which method you would prefer to watch.

Here is a break down on the items I used this week:

Other Shops I Mentioned:

While I really love how this turned out, I am kicking myself because I missed quite a few events to note down on Friday and Saturday. Mainly all BTS related events that had to do with the album release. None of which I ended up winning tickets for. Shocker, I know. But for some reason I didn't write any of the events down in my notes that I refer back to for memory planning. Actually not 'for some reason' I was sick and my mom was in the hospital for almost a week. I guess that was a little more important, haha. But yeah I ended up remembering everything after planning out the whole week and recording it. I could have gone in and replaced a few stickers to add stuff in, but none of it felt so important to change up the end result. Especially because I would have had to remove that round Happy Planner sticker. Something about it just really stands out and I didn't want to change it up. So anyway that was the end of February and I hope you liked how this spread turned out! Stay safe and well and I will catch you next week xoxo Moonbaes.
