Hiya guys! You know that feeling when you're so excited you can't stop smiling? Yeah, that's me right now as I type up this post haha. This is a super special post that I have been looking forward to sharing for a few weeks now. Today I'm dipping my toes into the resin world and sharing a bunch of items that were gifted to me by the shop The Charming Mermaid. For the sake of full transparency the shop owner is my best friend Jasmyn and she has not asked me to blog about her launch. She surprised me by gifting all these gorgeous items a few months ago and I decided to showcase them on my blog as I would anything else. I'm not going to be reviewing the items so much as I'm just going to be sharing them along with my thoughts. Like I said, Jasmyn is my best friend and I want to be able to support her as much as I can during this exciting new path she's taking. And apparently best friends can't buy out your entire shop, so the least I feel I can do is share the beautiful things she made for me.
The 'shop' currently set-up on Instagram where you comment on the item you'd like to purchase and you are then DMed an invoice through PayPal. The Instagram is @TheCharmingMermaid and she has over a dozen key-chains and trinket trays listed for sale. Not everything is K-Pop related, so it's definitely worth a look if you're into resin items. Even if you can't purchase please be sure to give her some support and a follow.
[ Custom Name Pop-Socket ]
First up we have this cute heart shaped pop-socket with my name in holographic foil. I'm not gonna lie... I still haven't put this on my phone. I love the look of a pop-socket and the idea of it, but not a fan of actually using it. Even though I drop my phone on my face more times than I can count. Then there are the accidental friend requests I send on Facebook because of it. Sigh. One of these days I'll take the plunge and finally use it on my phone, especially since I'm getting a new one that will match perfectly with it. Oh and of course I had to take out my macro lens for some of these so I could capture the glitter and sparkle magic.
[ BTS 'Jimin' Key-Chain ]
If you've read my blog in the past few months then you know I am crazy about the Korean boyband BTS. And by now you should also know that I am a total Jimin bias. So of course my best friend made me a ton of key-chains to show off my love for Jimin starting with this namesake one. I love it so much - from the name (of course) to the color selection to the overwhelming sparkle. The color choices especially bounce off each other really well and the name is easily readable. The sizing is pretty good too and I have been using it with my daily set of keys.

And we have another Jimin sake key-chain this time a full heart charm with a sticker of him. The sticker itself comes from the sheet that was included in the Love Yourself: Answer albums. I thought that was a real clever use of those stickers sheets that would otherwise go unused for the most part. Also I like how she matches the little tassels to match the charm, it's a really cute touch. This one I ended up hanging this one up by my BTS
[ BT21 Chimmy Key-Chain ]
It's hard to pick a favorite, but if I absolutely had to then it would be this one right here. Even my hubs took one look at it and said 'well damn', haha. The character on it is Chimmy from the BT21 line, these cartoon characters created by each one of the members. And yup Chimmy (a little yellow dog-like cartoon) was created by Jimin! The colors are so bold and the holographic flame is unreal. Plus it's Chimmy and I'm such a sucker for that little character! Brace yourself for the macro when it comes to this one, it's freaking out of this world.

Last but not least we have this gorgeous custom made tumbler! And honestly my photos don't do the sparkle any kind of justice whatsoever. I knew she was going to make me a tumbler because I always complained about my coffee going cold too quickly. The extent of the design that I knew before-hand was the color (because you know I live for anything blue-teal) and that it was going to have my name in the front. But that back design? Yeah, no I was completely in shock when she showed me. The back design is in reference to the song 'Promise', which is Jimin's solo song he released two years ago. The song holds a special place in my heart and her making this for me is beyond words.
And that's all I have to share with you guys and let me tell you... I feel like such a spoiled girl! Jasmyn went above and beyond with all these gifts and I feel so completely blessed to have her in my life. Not just because she spoils me, haha.
