Hi guys! Still pouring rain unfortunately. But I'm finally home after a long day at work and I have all the essentials to keep me well occupied for the next few hours. It's nail filing day and also trying to organize and plan out the next few nail designs. This, of course, is while I watch American Horror Story and eat a lot of candy. So for today's post I have some awesome nail vinyls from the new girl on the indie block Loki's Nail Vinyls. If you recall, I reviewed her nail aprons last week and today I finally have all the vinyls to show you. Her shop has dozens of affordable priced vinyls in so many varied styles. Here I'll be showing seven of her stunning designs for your every day quick mani's.
Loki's Nail Vinyls are available for purchase for low affordable prices. Even though the shop is based in Australia, all prices in the shop are US and shipping time is exceptional in my experience. Now let's take a look at all the vinyl designs I have to share with you guys.
Stud Nail Vinyls
When I first saw these I was terrified of trying to come up with something clever. But these were actually not as scary to work with as I thought they would be. These vinyls can be used instead of using actual studs with your nail designs. It's a really clever idea. I opted for doing something a little different and attempted to do a little negative space mani. I really like how it came out especially in contrast with the dark polish colors.
Disguise Nail Vinyls
When I opened up my reviewer package, these were the first to completely catch my attention and excite me. These vinyls are black, but I lighten the photo above so you can see the outlines. So much variation to be had with this set, but I do think they favor wider and long nail beds. The tie vinyl at least was even long when my nails were a bit longer a few weeks ago. Using a pair of nail clippers, I had to cut the excess from the tip of my nail. For this mani, I ended up using the vinyls in a decal sort of way and sealed them in with topcoat. Perfect for a quick mani when you're in a rush.
Skull and Crossbones Nail Vinyls
Like the previous mani, I used these vinyls in the simple decal method. Super simple to place over your favorite color and all you need to do it seal it in with a topcoat. These vinyls also come in a variety of colors not just plain black.
Batman Nail Vinyls
I love the dark knight so these were right up my alley, however, I don't think my mani does these any justice. Initially I tried to use these as stencils, but that did not come out so well. Using these as decals over polish seemed like the best bet and created a pretty funky mani. Do be careful with the amount of topcoat you use if you decide to use them as I have for this mani. If you notice the topcoat caused a little lifting on my middle finger
Wavey, Curved, and Thick French Vinyls

This set of vinyls is very diverse and includes 12 wave, 10 curve and 12 thick french. Plenty to go around for a few mani's, especially if you only do like accent nails with the vinyls. Out of all the ones here, these are definitely the kind I'm more used to working with so therefore were the easiest for me. I did three different mani's showing one of each of the kind included in this set. If you're perhaps trying vinyls for the first time and are unsure which to get then I definitely suggest this trio set. They peel off the smoothest from all the vinyls shown here and leave behind crisp clean lines.
Wavey Nail Vinyls
Curved Nail Vinyls
Thick French Nail Vinyls
Overall I'm really impressed by the quality and wide selection of Loki's Nail Vinyls. I was not expecting the shop to have such a variety to choose from. The vinyls themselves work well and most of them can be left on as decals instead of peeling them off for a quick but cute mani. The peeling process for some of the smaller ones can be difficult if you have experienced it before, but it's all a matter of practice. Try them out for yourself! As I mentioned before, Loki's Nail Vinyls are available for purchase for low affordable prices.
So what do you guys think? Are you a fan of vinyls? If so, which ones do you love the most?
