#HePicksMyPolish Challenge

Hi guys! So you know how I was super excited about having the day off Monday? Well wanna take a guess as to who just caught the flu? That would be me. Sneezing, sore throat, and a fever. I'm so not happy about this especially when I was planning on a swatching marathon. Let's face it, I'm terrible at taking care of myself so I'll probably still do it. I know it's Sunday, but I don't have any stamping for you today. Instead, I have an "interesting" mani to show you.  I participated in the #HePicksMyPolish challenge this month and let my hubby do the honors.  Big mistake.  Let's take a look at the polishes he picked:

He has a unique taste, doesn't he? Honestly, it could have been a lot worse.  It was actually really adorable because he took 20 minutes to go through my stash and pick out these polishes.  He really wanted to make sure the colors matched.  And I guess they kinda, sorta do... if I close one eye, and then the other, haha.  In all seriousness, it's actually a really cheerful mani that reminds me of a clown.

Polishes Used: Stardust Polish - Ice Cream Social, Heather's Hues - Sunkissed, and Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coats - Fuzz-Sea.  I used nail vinyls to help me create the straight lines

I'm really glad that I got to participate in this month's challenge along with my hubby.  At first I thought it would be a lot simpler, but boy-oh-boy did he throw me a curve ball with these colors.  I'm not sure now if I'm afraid or excited for the next month since it'll be my best friend picking out the colors. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Sorry for the relatively short blog post today, but like I said, I'm really not feeling well.  Need all the rest I can get, so I can show you guys some amazing polishes this week.  Let me know what you guys think of the mani and my hubby's selection of colors.  I'm sure he'd love to know.

Check out what the other awesome hubby's picked out for their wives:
