Hiya guys. How's it going today? I'm feeling a little bit under the weather and just in time for more snow. I kid you not. I'll definitely be picking up some cold flu medicine after work so I can cut this short. There is no way I'm letting this interfere with my upcoming vacation from work. Anyway, today I have some simply fancy nail art to show you guys. I'm combining a few things because of lack of time this week. Story of my life, I know. Here's this weeks Red Coat Tuesday and the gold prompt for Nail Crazy in March.
I tend to stay away from simple manis, but I'm thinking I should try them out more often. Simple done right is never a bad thing, right guys?
Here's the materials used to create this look:
- Polishes: OPI My Vampire is Buff, Zoya Purity, 18k Real Gold Topcoat, and Pixiedust Chyna
- Stamping Plate: Wedding Bliss by Winstonia
- Liquid Latex from Cinema Swatch Lacquer
- Fast Drying Topcoat: Seche Vite
I've had the Real Gold Topcoat from Zoya since I first started doing nail art over two years ago. This is the first time I used it... For shame!! I'm really terrible and my untried pile could go from Jersey to Cali and back again.
But the jokes aside, I think it's the perfect addition to this mani and any simple looking mani. I started off with my new favorite nude as a base and did some white for subtle stamping on each nail. On my ring nail, it was supposed to simply be the red pixiedust base and nothing more. But at the last second, I decided to add some gold to it too. Because gold all the things, haha. As I said before, it's a super simple mani this week but I do love it. What do you think?
That is a very cool color combo! I love the dark on the accent nail. It looks awesome.
