Hi guys. Just another beautiful sunny day here in Jersey, even though there is still plenty of snow on the ground. Such a strange combination of weather this year. For those that don't know, my nail corner is located in the attic and the past few days it's been holy hot up there. Anyway, it's time for my favorite day of the week 'Red Coat Tuesday' and a new Pretty Little Liars tonight. If you don't watch the show, the previous seasons are available on Netflix. Now here is my mani for this week!
Although I like how this mani ended up, it was completely not what I was going for. Can you believe this started out as a watermarble? Yup, it was a night full of nail fails haha. But I think I recovered quite nicely with this classic looking mani. What do you think?
Here's the materials used to create this look:
- Polishes: Sally Hansen Black Out, Salon Perfect Sugar Cube, and CDB Lacquer A Monsters Nightmare (which will be reviewed tomorrow)
- Various Rhinestones from eBay
- Fast Drying Topcoat: Seche Vite
I was going to record a video for the mani, but there was nothing to really show since this ended up being such a simple design. During my initial attempt to create a watermarble I recorded the process, but as I mentioned it was a total fail. Perhaps I should just upload the fails for the 'lols'.
As always, make sure you check out the other ladies participating in this weeks 'Red Coat Tuesday'! There are only one or two episodes left until the season finale and the massive secret we've all been waiting for!
That is a very cool design! I love how you have different things going on on each nail :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I don't do mix and match manis nearly often enough lol.
DeleteYour nails look great! I'm seriously going to have to step up my nail game. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI think it's a pretty cool design! The color combo on the marble ring nail looks like candy! Glad you got to use a CDBL polish for an art mani :)
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I had this one on I knew I had to use it for Red Coat Tuesday. The ring nail was the only one who survived the nail fail marble lol.
DeleteYour nails look great! I'm just dipping my toes into the nail decoration water, but I hope to work up to something like this!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. Practice definitely helps a lot at the beginning. If you haven't already, you should scroll around the nail community on Instagram.
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteYour nails look fantastic. I did nails professionally for 12 years and always enjoyed doing all the designs.
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I love working on nail designs, but only on myself. I don't think I'll ever do this professionally like a nail technician.
DeleteI love the colors you chose for this post. I think the black and red with the white looks so rich. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) These are definitely classic colors.
DeleteEven though it didn't end up how you started, I love how it turned out. The little jewels are fantastic addition.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. Rhinestones and studs always help make an otherwise simple mani stand out big time.
DeleteWow, very cool nails. Your nails look incredible. I wish mine looked half as nice.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It's taken a lot of work to get to this point, but it's been a fun journey.
DeleteHow cool or those nails? I really do love the look. I can't believe how glossy and perfect they look.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The glossy-ness is thanks to my topcoat from Seche Vite. It's my lifeline without a doubt.
DeleteThose are some beautiful nail designs! My daughter would love those pretty jewels in her nails!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteThat red color is just so beautiful! Ive been looking for one like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks. The red polish is by CDB Lacquer and will be releasing in her shop on Friday. I will be reviewing it today.
DeleteLove these colors! Huge fan of the stripes!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteThese are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to do a rainbow color!
Thank you and yes rainbow colors would make a fascinating mani!
DeleteI adore accent nail decor! I would love to use little pearls like that, so elegant.
ReplyDeleteThat's really cute, especially the little jewels. I'm so hard on my manicure, I don't think they would last long on me.
ReplyDeleteThank you. To be honest, I rarely wear a mani for longer than three days.
DeleteI think these look awesome!! That red polish is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I'll actually have a review on it today and it's being released on Friday.
DeleteThe french tipped nails are so cool and bold! And I love the other nails as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I actually added the bit as a last second thought right before I was about to take my photos haha.
Deleteok...it's official! You need to do my nails girl! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much :)
DeleteWow, your nails look stunning! I never attempted nail art but you definitely given me some great ideas. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the variety on your nails! I fail with nail art, so I'm always really impressed with people who can make something of it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute look! I love that deep maroon color! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI find this design so hot! Love the red and black combo and the different finishes!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so pretty! I wish my nails looked like that. Thanks for sharing, it looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty, I love the sally hansen nail polish. I am yet to tackle my netfilx and watch pretty little liars but i will do it one day
ReplyDeleteThat dark, rich color is pretty. I like that there are so many ways to do nails now a days.
ReplyDeleteI am loving your nail design and that color is perfection! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fabulous skittlette! All of them coordinate perfectly!
ReplyDeleteLove this skittlette! It's so classy and fun at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI love the color. The only problem that I would have is that I would go through the bottle to fast because i pick my nails to often.
ReplyDeleteI'm not that creative when it comes to my nails, but how pretty! I love those colors, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat recovery - the manicure looks good to me. I love those colors. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteThose tiny stripes are so awesome. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. I'd love to try this myself!
