How to: St. Patrick's Day Clover & Dots

Hi guys. TGIF. The long week is finally over and I'm officially starting my vacation for the whole week. Just to fill you guys in during the week I was involved in a hit and run, not fun to say the least. I wasn't hurt and my car only has minor scratches so I ended up getting really lucky. Still the experience left me shaken up and feeling completely out of the loop. This vacation couldn't be better timed! Anyway, I finally managed to get some St. Patrick's Day nail art done last night to complete some challenges for the month.

How to: St. Patrick Clover & Dots

I cannot get myself to actually like this mani right now, because of the rough night I had coming up with it. This simple mani took me about two and a half hours since I kept re-doing it over and over again. Can you tell I'm a perfectionist? Lol.

How to: St. Patrick Clover & Dots

Here's the materials used to create this look:
  • Polishes: Salon Perfect Sugar Cube, Pipe Dream Polish High Roller, and Zoya Stassi
  • Makeup Sponges
  • Detail Brush and Dotting Tools
  • Fast Drying Topcoat: Seche Vite

There is a YouTube video on my channel @RoselynnMercedes787 on how to create this design. You can also find a direct link to the video here: https://youtube.com/watch?v=Lx_qy9mTtpM. If you're more of an Instagram person, then no worries you can find a quicker version of the tutorial on my page @roselynn787 later on today.

How to: St. Patrick Clover & Dots

I'll be doing a few more St. Patrick's Day designs throughout the week, so be sure to let me know what you'd like to see.

As I mentioned before this design was created to cover two challenges for the month of March. The first is for the HPB Blog Link Up on Facebook.

And the other is for Week 2 of the Nail Crazies Challenge, which is the group I co-admin with my friend Cheyenne on Facebook as well.

  1. Thanks for this great tutorial. I've always found nail art like this to be fascinated. Right now I'm mastering stripes, but I'll definitely be coming back to this.

    1. You should definitely give it a try! Working with acrylic paint will make it easier because you can start over without ruining the polish base.
