PetSmart Haul | Sophia Fashion Model: Winter & Holiday Edition

Hiya guys! We are starting off the week on the right foot with a whole lot of cute. And I do mean a whole lot! I'm like still recovering from my concert experience this weekend and I definitely need some cuteness right about now. And so much coffee, haha. Thankfully the queen of cuteness has decided to grace us with her presence again in another high fashion modeling photo shoot. These outfits are all Christmas and Holiday themed, but I figured you guys wouldn't mind. I mean... look at that face! I ended up buying these outfits all for Black Friday and got such a great deal on them. As much as she loves clothes and I love buying them for her... there is no way mama is paying full price. I mean $20 for one outfit when I can wait for a sale and get 2 for the same price and then I can get a total of 5 or 6 instead of 3 so I can get free shipping. That's just basic shopping logic, you know. So I ended up placing orders across three different PetSmart stores and all I did on Black Friday was go location to location. And it was 100% worth all the driving because each and every outfit fit and looks perfect on her.

When it comes to PetSmart I'm always a bit more hesitant to buy clothes for Sophia (or any of the pups) because the sizing is a bit off. More often than not I always need to size-up for her when it comes to their outfits (shirts and dresses alike). So basically from Petco I only purchase size Small for her and PetSmart I only purchase Medium. Every other store is a struggle, especially Walmart. Ugh, let's not even go there. I feel like I should know her exact measurements, but I don't even know my own body measurements so you know we just wing it. Totally fine, haha.

Merry & Bright Holiday "Best Gift Ever" Tulle Pet Dress

As soon as I saw this dress I knew I had to get it for Sophia. Red is her color! I was a little worried she was going to hate the tulle material, but surprisingly she didn't seem to mind it. The fact that it's sleeveless definitely helps in her liking it and not trying to take it off. The tulle material does tear pretty easily though and you can see in one of the photos there is a small rip. It wasn't even like she was wearing it and playing around with the other dogs. It literally happened sometime during the photo shoot where all she was doing was eating treats. Not a big deal since I paid such a low price, but it would have definitely bothered me had I paid full price. Like one wear and there is already a tear? Yeah, not good. So it's not something she's going to be wearing during a hectic night out, ya know. Just more suited for that casual at home glam look.

Merry & Bright Holiday "Merry and Bright" Pet Tee

A casual t-shirt for some casual lounging. I'll totally admit this t-shirt was not purchased for her, but she ended up wanting to wear it for a bit so here we are. While the fit of the shirt was perfect for her body shape, the sleeves were not. They didn't bug her too much, but there were definitely times where she lost her little arms in the sleeves. That is such a big issue for her when it comes to t-shirts and hoodies. The struggles of a model I suppose. Can't relate, haha. So while it was cute for the photos, I think this one is going back to her brothers for long-term wear.

Merry & Bright Holiday "No Mistletoe Needed" Pet Tee & Sock Set

Now you'll notice the title of this shirt set says & socks... Yeah that was not happening with this little diva. She'd let me put them on her, but as soon as I was done she'd take them right off. Not going to lie, it was adorable to watch her do that so I just let her. The shirt felt like it fit pretty good, it really hugs her curves but not in a tight way. I definitely like the sleeves on this t-shirt much better than the one before. Out of all the outfits and stuff this is definitely like a go-to look for her to wear around the house. Especially on the really cold nights - we reside in the attic space mostly and it gets so cold even with the heat cranked up. And best part is it's a shareable shirt as it fits our other dogs perfectly too. Not that she shares very well, but that's a whole other story haha.

Side note: I finally managed to convince Sophia to do the pose that shows the back of the shirt. Over the shoulder look and everything. Proud mom moment. We just won't talk about the amount of treats this took to accomplish, haha.

Top Paw Holiday Glitter Velour Pet Dress

Now this is the outfit that really inspired this whole post to begin with! We were going into PetSmart to buy some cat food (long story) and walked by the dog aisle and this popped out at us. We immediately knew Sophia had to have it! But it was a few weeks before Black Friday so we didn't buy it until we could score it on sale and we totally did. Now the dress itself is perfection and probably one of my favorites on her in a long time. The top has a nice velvet type of material and the sleeves fall great on her little arms. Not too long to make it uncomfortable for her. The bottom has a bit of that tulle material like the red dress, but it's much more low-key which I appreciate. It makes it easier for her to walk and more importantly to play in without getting torn. Swoon. Looking over the photos, she really looks like a perfect little princess in this outfit! It's definitely getting worn over and over again that's for sure.

Top Paw Holiday Tuxedo Pet Vest

And we have a special guest on the run way today folks! Meet Casper! He's our 2 year-old Pomeranian and Sophia's best friend. During every photo-shoot I always end up having to take a few photos of him because he just gets so excited and wants to be involved. This time I had to get him an outfit and let him live out his inner modeling dreams. Dare I say, he nailed it. Unfortunately the shirt size - a medium - was way too big for him. Especially after his recent hair-cut. But everything else in this post fit him perfectly in the same size as his outfit. So frustrating! I ended up just re-ordering the outfit in a smaller size for him and I'm giving this one to one of our other dogs. Hopefully the order goes through because it's the end of the season and everything is on super clearance but that means orders can get cancelled. That said I definitely love this outfit on him if it wasn't for the size issue, it's super easy to put on and feels light/easy to wear. Heck even though it was clearly too big and slipping off, he wanted to continue wearing it well after the photos! He was born to be a model, just like Sophia.

The fashion show is officially over... for now! I've been enjoying doing these kind of posts with the pups SO much. I hope you guys love them as much as I do. I am really hoping to continue to do these seasonally at the very least since that's usually when the stores see new releases. I'm afraid if I keep this up though she's going to end up with a bigger closet than me, haha. But of course if you guys see any cute outfits that you think Sophia might like please let us know!
