Hiya guys! Another week, another planner spread. So. Much. Blue. I'm so happy I finally got to use this beautiful kit from Cricket Paper Co. called Winter Rose. The name felt so appropriate since it was freezing cold this week in NJ to the point of snow. Not fun. This kit was also a nice touch of subtle winter because I feel like a lot of my winter kits lean to into the Christmas vibes. To be honest I had forgotten all about this kit since I purchased it in 2016. Yup, that's not a typo. In the middle of night I had a spur of the moment thought that resulted in me searching through drawers and drawers. And at the end of it I probably found nearly two dozen sticker kits and a even bigger pile of functional stickers. It was almost like having a shopping spree or Christmas day all over again, haha. It was glorious.
The funny thing is I have a sinking feeling I am missing an entire binder worth of more sticker kits just from Cricket Paper Co. There are just a few kits that come to mind that aren't in the one I found so it has me scratching my head a little. I'm trying not to go crazy about it because I have more than enough to go through first.
I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of recording and cutting down the process a lot so that it's easier to record. I think the one thing that made this a little chaotic behind the scenes for me was going through the mountain of stickers I mentioned I found. I used to have everything in little albums sorted by categories like computer, doctor, food, etc. And then I found hundreds of stickers and my well organized stash went to hell, haha. That said, one of the things I love the most about this week is how many different stickers I was able to pull in. I just have to really organize my stash so I don't spend so much time going through everything to find exactly what I need.
Here is a break down on the items I used this week:
- Planner - Erin Condren: Vertical Layout in Neutral
- Weekly Kit - Winter Rose from Cricket Paper Co
- Pen Used - Paper Mate Ink Joy Gel 0.7
- Nail Polish - OPI: My Vampire is Buff
Other Shops I Mentioned:
- Coffee Monster Co
- Stick With Me
- Once More With Love
- My Own Island
- Harriet Wright Designs
- It's Planning Time
- The Novel Coffee
- You and Me Stickers
- Planner Kate
And that's it for this week! This is probably my favorite spread so far, but I know that's not saying much since this is like week three haha. Maybe at the end of the year - should I keep up with this - I can do a post re-capping my favorite spreads. It'll be interesting to see if this one still makes the cut. I do really hope I can continue with this despite how time-consuming it has been feeling lately. It's just one of those things that I need to follow the schedule on or else I fall behind and I cannot post on Fridays. Such was the case last week. In fact I'm skipping this coming week because I have so much going on, so I'll be a week behind in terms of posting. But what I'm ultimately hoping happens is it will actually help me be ahead in the upcoming weeks behind the scenes. We'll see how it works out so wish me luck. Catch you next time, xoxo Moonbaes!
