Hiya guys! I cannot believe it's only a few days until Halloween and it doesn't feel like it too much. I've talked about it here and there, but I have also been focused on the holidays. Making the lists and checking them twice. It's never too early to start planning and shopping. With that in mind, I have something that should make your list this season. Today I'm sharing swatches for Dec by Creative Cuticles Nail Polish, which is the last in the monthly cremes series for 2017. Each month has a corresponding creme as part of a year long celebration. Creative Cuticles Nail Polish - Dec
Dec can be described as a cranberry red creme. Isn't this shade absolutely stunning?! There is just something so beautiful about a creamy base, it's always my favorite kind of finish. Now I know you must be wondering... does it stamp? And yes, yes it does. Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the photos showing it over black and white. So I'll just have to tell you about it instead! So it does stamp nicely over a white base, very opaque and shows the hue perfectly. Over black however it wasn't as dark or opaque, but does show the design. I think some of the other swatchers do some stamping with this shade, so definitely take a look on Instagram for that.
The formula has a very opaque application, almost a one coater. It has a nice balanced consistency, not too thick or too thin. Very smooth throughout and easy to work with during layering. I experienced some minimal staining to my cuticles on removal, but none to my nail beds. Definitely something to expect from a red on removal and the staining was easy to remove with soaking. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
