Hiya guys! You didn't think I was going to let you off the hook just yet from Polish Pickup, did you? Haha no sir, the enabling is in full effect so hide your wallets. Until Friday that is, then take them out and prepare to go absolutely nuts. I'm continuing with the October run of the Polish Pickup today and sharing swatches for Sassy Pants Polish contribution to the collaboration. This month the theme is Monsters & Mythical Creatures, a theme after my own heart especially in the month of Halloween. Alright let's get right into the swatches!

Fairy Spell by Sassy Pants Polish will be available for purchase through the Polish Pickup Shop October 6th at 11AM EST through October 9th. This full-size 15mL shade will retail for $12 each.

If you're not familiar with the concept, the Polish Pickup offers a fun, interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas, vote for your favorite theme, and selectively purchase your favorite polishes every month. As I mentioned before, the theme that was voted for October was Monsters & Mythical Creatures! This month Angie found her inspiration in the gorgeous magical creatures known as fairies.

Sassy Pants Polish - Fairy Spell

Fairy Spell can be described as an orchid linear holo with a strong blue green shifting shimmer. That. Shimmer. *drool* If that alone doesn't make you add this to your cart I don't know what will, haha.

The formula has a sheer application, but has fantastic build-up for full opacity. Consistency feels very balanced, not too thin or too thick. It's definitely butter smooth and easy to work with and layer. There are no visible brush strokes and it dries down to a high-shine finish on its own. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Overall this is a stunning shade that definitely took me by surprise. While I am not surprised by the flawless formula, I am happy to say I love how the color looks against my skin-tone. Plus it's so full of shimmer aka my latest obsession. Photos don't do the shimmer any justice. And Angie is one of those rare makers that hasn't really missed a month (as far as I can remember) from the launch of Polish Pickup and kills it every month. She nails it every single month, pun intended!
