Hiya guys! There are just times when polish has me bursting at the seams from pure joy and this is one of those times. For the rest of this week we will be devoting ourselves to the one and only Supernatural Lacquer. There is a little bit of something new and a lot of something old building up to a mega release. Needless to say, those wallets will need to be uber prepped for a whole lot of gorgeous. Now for today I'm sharing swatches for Avalon 3.0 by Supernatural Lacquer, which is a revision of the original in 2015 and the redux from 2016. If you're a fan of green hues then this is one that should not be missing from your collection. Without further ado, let's get to the swatches!

Supernatural Lacquer - Avalon 3.0
Avalon 3.0 can be described as a bright kelly green crelly base with golden shimmer, flecks and flakes. This shade is named after the realm of faeries in the Supernatural universe. As I mentioned before, this one is definitely one for any and every collection. And that's coming from someone who normally tends to stay away from greens. The hue looks great against my skin-complexion and doesn't bring out too much warmth as I was expecting.
The formula has a pretty opaque application, but not quite enough to be a one coater. There is a nice and even build-up throughout with plenty of flakes per layer. The consistency is well balanced, not too thick or too thin. Even though there is a lot going on with the base it really feels creamy and smooth. I experienced no staining on removal to either my cuticles or nail beds. Shown in two to three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
And because I have loved this brand since the beginning of time, I had a bottle of Avalon 2.0 saved in my helmer. So here's a quick comparison shot just in case there were any curious minds. There is a clear difference in the hue of the base with the previous version being darker. That said, both versions are beautiful and with enough variation between the two to justify owning both.
