Hiya guys! And we are finally at the end of the week and also at the end of the Supernatural Lacquer swatch spamming, haha. It's been such a dream week, especially going back to a lot of the revision shades. Speaking of which, today I'm sharing swatches for Djinn 2.0 by Supernatural Lacquer. If you think you have your shopping list finalized you might want to think again. I remember this being one of the first shades I fell in love and purchased. It has been a long time favorite of mine and I longed for it's return. And now it's back and better than ever. Be still my little polish filled heart, haha. Supernatural Lacquer - Djinn 2.0
Djinn 2.0 can be described as am ultramarine blue jelly with various sized neon blue flakes and a deep blue glow. Words cannot describe how excited I am to see this particular shade coming back! It's so bright and fun shade to wear, plus the extra squishy finish is everything. I think this is actually the shade that made me fall in love with the jelly finish back in the day. Needless to say, I feel like I am over the moon wearing it and it's without a must-have you guys. If you couldn't already tell by all the swooning I'm doing over here, haha. In my defense the color also happens to look stunning against any skin complexion as well. Plus it glows in the dark!
The formula has a very sheer application as expected for a jelly finish. It builds-up really well though and provides almost full coverage with some layering. Consistency wise it's well balanced, not too thick or too thin. Definitely easy to work with and layer, plus the glitters have a good distribution and don't clump up. It dries down to a minimal gritty finish that smooths out perfectly after topcoat. I experienced no staining on removal to either my nail beds or cuticles. Such a huge plus considering what a strong blue this is! Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
And here's a look at it polish as it glows a bright blue. I didn't even have to charge it for a long time, maybe around five minutes, for the glow to activate. Definitely a great bonus aspect to an already gorgeous shade!
