Chirality Nail Polish - Vicious Lips Trio

Hiya guys! I hope everyone had a nice weekend and experienced some relaxing time as well. I don't know about you, but I much prefer a quiet weekend in bed over anything. Maybe that's just in inner sloth coming out though, haha. It's time to get excited though because not only does this post contain awesome polish, but it's also a new brand on the blog. Today I'm sharing swatches for the Vicious Lips Trio by Chirality Nail Polish, which is inspired by deadly women (black widow, succubus, etc). Doesn't that sound so bad-ass? I was almost going to say it's perfect for Valentine's Day, but uhhh... I guess it just depends on what you're into, haha. Okay, enough of my weirdness. Without further ado, let's go ahead and get right to it!

Chirality Nail Polish - Vicious Lips Trio

The Vicious Lips Trio by Chirality Nail Polish will be releasing on Saturday, February 3rd. Each full-size 15mL bottle will retail for $12 and the complete full-size trio retails for $30. Each mini-size 5mL bottle retails for $6 and the complete mini-size trio retails for $15. Please note: mini sizes are only available if purchased through the website and not Etsy.

Chirality Nail Polish - Black Widow
Chirality Nail Polish - Black Widow

Black Widow can be described as a lavish black jelly polish filled with gold shimmer and gold to green color shifting glitters. Starting this review off with a killer shade... get it? Cause it's based on deadly women... I'll stop, haha. But in all seriousness, isn't this a stunner? There is always something about a black polish that makes my little heart flutter. The gold to green glitters add such a unique contrast against the base. Love the combination and it's so high-shine as well (it was hard to capture just how much it shines).

The formula has a really good opacity and hardly has the feel of a jelly at all. Builds-up easily for full coverage and almost feels like a cream with how opaque it is. Consistency wise it's well balanced and is neither too thin or too thick. Very to work with and layer. The finish dries down to a minimal gritty feel that smooths out perfectly after topcoat. There was no staining on removal to either my cuticles or nail beds. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Chirality Nail Polish - Maneater
Chirality Nail Polish - Maneater

Maneater can be described as a dazzling teal jelly polish with turquoise shimmer and emerald glitters and blue to green color shifting glitters. And here we have my personal favorite from the trio, though it should come as no surprise to long time readers. Your girl here is a sucker for anything blue or teal and this one is no exception. The combination of the shimmer and glitters add a perfect depth to the finish. Photos really doesn't do it any justice. Plus it looks stunning against my skin complexion, which is always a huge bonus in my book.

The formula has a sheer application, which is as expected from a jelly finish. That said, it does end up building really nice and it's easy to achieve full coverage. The consistency is perfectly balanced, not too thick or too thin. There are some minimal brush strokes in the finish as well as some grittiness that end up blending out after topcoat. I'd like to note that I did experience some minor staining to my cuticles and nail beds on removal. However I was the only blogger to note this, so it's just something to keep in mind. Shown in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.

Chirality Nail Polish - Succubus
Chirality Nail Polish - Succubus

Succubus can be described as a delicious wine jelly polish filled with red to gold color shifting glitters. You can't have a collection about deadly women and not include a killer red! This shade is so rich and high-shine that it effortless pulls off that sleek sexy vibe. And to mention the touches of red glitter add a great touch to make the finish have a pop. Of course this is another shade that looks great against my skin-complexion though it does pull some warmth.

The formula has a good opacity for a jelly, but does need layering to achieve full coverage. It has a well balanced consistency, not too thick or too thin. Very easy to work with and layer, builds-up evenly as well. It dries down to a minimal gritty finish that smooths out after topcoat. I experienced no staining on removal to either my nail beds or cuticles. Definitely a nice touch for any red polish as I am always prone to staining. Shown in three coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
