Hiya guys! I've been having such a fun time going through my collection and getting to swatch polishes I purchased months ago. In some cases even years ago. It's kind of a dorky dream of mine to be able to swatch and review my entire collection. Yeah, dream being the key word seeing as my collection expands eight helmers haha. But I did get to knock out another that was on the top of my list and I am absolutely giddy about it. Yup, I'm a polish dork. Today I'm sharing swatches for Yule Ball by Supernatural Lacquer, which was a custom for the Facebook group Crazies 4 Crellies in December 2017. This shade was inspired by the beautiful holiday dining hall scene in one of the Harry Potter movies. As a big fan of the wizardry franchise and this indie brand I could not pass up this chance. Best of both worlds for my little heart to explode, haha. Now without further ado, let's go ahead and get right into the swatches!

Yule Ball can be described as a off white based crelly with bright green to red shimmer, silver micro flecks and burgundy/gold chameleon flakes. First thing is first, I have to say how glad I am the base is not a straight up white. The slight off-white color gives this crelly a really unique vibe that makes it stand-out even more among similar shades in my collection. I love how flakie filled the finish is without causing it to feel overwhelming. Instead the combination of the shimmer and flecks create a beautiful give the finish an awe-dropping amount of depth. It ends up really capturing the magical inspiration it was going for without a doubt. Plus the off-white base works very well against
The formula has a sheer application with a surprisingly fantastic build-up throughout. Consistency wise it's perfectly well balanced, not too thick or too thin. Very creamy finish overall. The flakies are well distributed throughout the application for a full coverage look on the nail. There is no clumping whatsoever thru the layers/coats. I didn't mention it before, but this shade also has a mesmerizing intense shimmer that simply glows in direct sunlight. It dries down to a minimal gritty feel that smooths out to a flawless smooth finish after topcoat. Shown here in two coats and sealed with a glossy topcoat.
